South Glos: Paediatric First Aid 4-week course

South Gloucestershire Council are running an accredited Paediatric First Aid course starting next Wednesday at Turnberrie’s Community Centre in Thornbury. It will run over 4 weeks from 9.30-12.30 every Wednesday. Carers of babies, infants or young children may find this course useful.

If you are below level 2 qualifications or you have barriers such as mental health issues, learning difficulties or have been out of work for a long time AND receive a means-tested benefit, you may be able to attend this course for free and receive an accredited certificate once completed.

Bristol: How to use Facebook workshop for over 50s

Learn how to use Facebook to keep connected to family, friends and your community. North Bristol Advice Centre are running ‘Introduction to the Internet for over 50s’ workshops.

If you live in Bristol, you can attend a ‘Introduction to the Internet’ workshop on Tuesday 17th March from 2-4pm, focusing on how to use Facebook. The session is run by North Bristol Advice Centre. It is aimed at over 50s who would like to learn more about using Facebook to connect with friends, family and local community groups – as well as online safety and privacy.
