NBCP courses in North Bristol

North Bristol Community Project are running a series of courses designed to promote well-being and personal development. Local carers are invited to attend.

IT Skills – Every Thursday, 2-3pm (drop in), £5 per person

  • Get the most out of your laptop, phone, tablet or digital camera
  • Learn how to shop online safely, Skype family members and get great deals
  • Take along your device and they will show you how
  • Tea, coffee, cake available £1.5o

Personal Development – Tuesdays, 9.30am-12pm, 20th February to 17th April (booking required)

  • Explore a variety of ways in which to change, grow and achieve your potential
  • Make plans and set personal goals
  • Explore future careers, education and volunteering opportunities

Sewing – Mondays, 9.30am-12pm, 19th February to 23rd April (booking required)

  • Learn to use a sewing machine and hand stitch
  • Repair, recycle, embellish and customise your clothing
  • Explore the possibility of self-employment

Print Making – Second Sunday of every month, 2.30-4.30pm (booking required), £10

  • Create textile designs on card and fabric
  • Learn print making techniques you can practice at home without the need of expensive equipment
  • Children over 8 welcome
