Would you like to meet others carers, but your local group isn’t meeting at the moment? Or perhaps you are unable to leave the person you care for and cannot get out to groups?
Our carers groups have moved online so carers with internet access can still attend sessions virtually. The groups are run monthly using an online application called Zoom. If you are interested in joining a group but have not used Zoom before, we can help – it is very easy to use.

Join this online workshop to experience some of the ways in which singing can improve your physical health and lift your mood (microphones can be muted!)
For the love of reading, Mon 1 Feb, 11 – 11.45
Are you interested in reading? Join us for this session for carers to discuss books, the health benefits of reading and how to make time for reading
The following workshops that we ran recently, you can now watch online at your own convenience (email Stacey for a video link):
Gentle, easy movements that can be done from your own home
Plant based cookery
Exploring ideas and discussions around introducing plant-based meals
Activity groups run monthly. New members are welcome and we can help talk you through using Zoom.

Carers Groups run independently
There are also several other support groups in the area run by different organisations. Please note these groups are independent and not run by Carers Support Centre and this may not be a comprehensive list. Please ring the contact given for more information and to check details.
