Being a supportive employer

Carers Support Centre is a local charity participating in a national pilot project to develop support tools for carers in employment. In Bristol & South Gloucestershire combined there are over 68,000 carers, with 1 in 9 trying to juggle caring for a friend or relative whilst working, and 1 in 5 leaving their employment due to the strain of additional caring responsibilities.

As one of nine pilot sites in England receiving funding from central government, we are engaging local businesses to raise awareness and develop support tools & services that employers can access free of charge to address employee wellbeing, in order to support and retain their staff who having caring responsibilities outside of the workplace.

The support on offer is detailed below, if you are a business who would like to get involved please contact us using the from below or call us: 07761 452959
