Wellbeing Courses for Older Carers – video

We have been supporting older carers by running wellbeing courses funded through Bristol Ageing Better. These are being delivered in several areas of the city and are specifically designed for carers aged 50+. Bringing people in similar situations together, the courses share resources and teach skills to promote wellbeing and help them cope in their caring roles.

BAB Voices met with Pauline Edwards-Samuels, Volunteer and Training Coordinator at Carers Support Centre, and carers Pearl, Sue, and Norma, who took part in one of the courses. They talked about their experiences and how the course helped support carers.

We also run a variety of support groups for carers. To find out about what’s available click here.
