Welcome to Carers Support Centre vacancies page.

This page is updated as vacancies arise, so please revisit regularly if you are interested in joining us (either paid or unpaid) to be part of our creative and dynamic team that aims to make life better for carers in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. 

Carers Support Centre provides a wide range of information, advice and support services for unpaid carers of all ages. Three out of five people in the UK will become carers at some point in their lives.

There are two ways that you can apply for our vacancies (as detailed below).

By application form – Download, complete and return a completed application form and the equal opportunities form using the links below. Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted.

By CV – Email a CV, a sheet detailing how you meet the skills required and an equal opportunities form. The links for the form and a list of the skills to evidence are below. Applications that do not have both the CV and evidence provided will not be considered.

Interim Young Carers Manager – 6 months fixed term contract

Salary – £31,064 FTE (£9,319 pro rata/actual for 6 months)

Hours – 22.5 per week

Carers Assessment Worker

Salary – £23,266 pa FTE / £9306.48 pa Actual

Hours – 15 hours per week

Closing date – 18th December 2023 @ 12 noon

Interview date – 4th January 2024

Young Carers Support Worker – South Gloucestershire

Salary – £24,786 FTE

Hours – 22.5 hours per week (1 year temporary contract to cover maternity leave)

Closing date – Monday 8th January 2024 @ 12 noon

Interview date – Wednesday 17th January 2024
