Research Study Seeking Participants – the effect of COVID-19 on delivering care

Healthwave is a specialist research organisation that collects patient feedback for NHS organisations and local authorities. They have recently been asked by your local NHS organisation to explore people’s experiences (whether positive or not) of using online services to support their own health and wellbeing, or the health and wellbeing of people they care for.

OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Are you aged 45 or over and live in Bristol?
Do you support someone to use digital or online services? For example, helping a friend or relative to shop online, use online healthcare or internet banking. Maybe even using a mobile app or navigating the internet. IF SO, HEALTHWAVE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

They would like to understand your experiences of using digital health services, what’s really good about them and also highlight things that can be improved. They feed this back to NHS teams to ensure they are well informed when designing health services.

How to Take Part

Taking part involves a short 30-minute conversation over Zoom or similar, or alternatively via a telephone call, depending on your preference. If you’d like to make your voice heard, Healthwave would love to have your views. You can book a time to speak to one of their researchers using the calendar link here Opportunity to Make a Difference – Healthwave – A research movement (healthwavehub.com)or email them at hello@healthwavehub.com for more information.

As a thank you for your participation, Healthwave are offering a £5 Amazon voucher in return for your time. Alternatively, they will donate £5 to a charity of your choice.

Funding for this project was provided by the UK Research and Innovation COVID-19 response fund.
