South Gloucestershire Adult Social Care Project

Healthwatch South Gloucestershire wants to engage with people living in South Gloucestershire to find out their experience of needing a care assessment or of being on a waiting list for a care assessment for adult social care, and what care and support they need at home and in their daily life to remain independent. This includes:

  • People over the age of 18 caring for someone and not receiving support in this role (unpaid carers)
  • People over the age of 18 living with care and support needs
  • People with a disability or sensory impairment
  • Older adults

Healthwatch South Gloucestershire will be running focus groups in March 2024 to give people the opportunity to discuss this.  The focus groups will take place online on Zoom on Thursday 14th March from 11.00 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. and will last 90 minutes.

All focus group participants will be given a high street shopping voucher to acknowledge their contribution to the focus group.
