Last week our Young Carers Voice group had the pleasure of welcoming over 50 South Glos young carers to the Armadillo Youth Centre in Yate for this year’s Young Carers Action Day event.
This year Young Carers Action Day focused on the theme of ‘fair futures’ – aiming to help young carers seize their potential and build the confidence and knowledge they need to excel in their careers.
Our Young Carers Voice group hosted workshops from a range of fantastic partners focusing on financial skills, environmental conservation, music and first aid and had a wonderful time seeing young carers enjoy themselves and unlock their potential.
Thank you to everyone who came along and participated in the event, and for Armadillo Youth Centre for hosting this.
