If you are a carer living in the greater Fishponds area and want to make a difference to other carers using local facilities, joining Considerate Friends could be for you!
Considerate Friends are a group of carers who visit local services and facilities in the greater Fishponds area and make recommendations for how they could be improved to make the experience of carers and those they care for better when using those facilities. Members say that being involved in the project is good for their mental wellbeing, they like making a difference, enjoy the companionship and love being involved in something they are interested in.
The project is supported by an officer at Carers Support Centre, and is part of a group of projects called Greater Fishponds Community Champions, which is led by The Care Forum and funded by Bristol Ageing Better.
