Carers survey on NHS and social care

Healthwatch and Care Quality Commission want to hear your experiences (both good and bad) of NHS and social care services during the pandemic.

The survey aims to capture the experiences of carers (and those they care for) nationwide, in particular any interactions with NHS services across:

  • inpatients
  • GP surgeries
  • 111 support
  • dental treatment.

They are particularly keen acquire feedback of how carers have found any mental health services accessed at this testing time. The survey is confidential.

The survey findings will be broken down by region and used to build a picture of the care quality experienced by unpaid carers. Your feedback can help the NHS and social care providers understand what could be improved. By sharing your experiences, you can help improve support for other local carers.

The survey is simple and should only take 5 minutes to complete.

The survey is part of #BecauseWeAllCare, a public campaign to encourage people to feedback on their care experiences. The campaign is being run jointly by Care Quality Commission and Healthwatch England.

Please note this survey has now closed.
