The information you provide helps Carers UK to raise awareness of the issues cares face and to campaign on your behalf so that changes to services and policy best meet people’s needs.
The information gathered in 2018 allowed a Committee of MPs to put pressure on the Government to put in place paid care leave and make changes to Carer’s Allowance. It also brought about a commitment to the way the NHS identifies and offers support carers.
This year it is hoped the survey will allow Carers UK to influence decisions on spending and support services, financial support for carers, and improving carers health and wellbeing.
