University of Bristol – New learning disability research study

Do you provide support to an adult family member with a learning disability within the family home?

Dr. Jillian Powell is a researcher at the University of Bristol and is looking for family carers aged 40 and over living in England, to take part in a new research study.

What is the project about?

Dr. Powell wants to explore what support families received from their networks of support (e.g. from family, friends and professionals organisations such as adult social care and carers groups). This is to help identify what families most value from support and where there may be gaps in the support. The aim is to help social care providers improve their planning.

As a thank you for helping with the study you will receive a £20 high-street store voucher.

To take part or for more information, please contact Dr. Powell.
