South Gloucestershire Council are consulting on a proposal to publish a list of all licensed taxis. The idea is to provide users of the licensed taxi and private hire service in South Gloucestershire with as much information as they can to enable an informed decision on how best to travel.

Consultation: Bristol City Centre Framework

Bristol City Council has drafted a City Centre Framework document for consultation. The Framework sets out aspirations for how people access and move around the city centre. It also covers new development and enhancing public spaces, with a focus on Bristol Shopping Quarter, Old City, Castle Park, North Redcliffe and the gateway into the city from the M32.

Pop-up exhibitions to raise awareness of the consultation are planned as follows:

  • 20 April – St Nicholas Night Market, St Nicholas Market, Glass Arcade, Corn Street 2pm to 5pm
  • 23 April – Citizen Service Point, 100 Temple Street 10am to 1pm
  • 28 April – Junction 3 Library, Baptist Mills Court, Easton 3.30pm to 6.30pm
  • 3 May – Central Library foyer, Deanery Road (TBC)
